Prayer Delivery · Jerusalem
Have your written prayer printed on a physical scroll, carried into the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem — the traditional site of Jesus's crucifixion, burial and resurrection — and emailed back to you with a dated photograph as proof of delivery.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre has been a place of prayer for over 1,700 years — the one place where believers of every Christian tradition stand together.
Christian tradition places both Calvary (Golgotha) and the empty tomb within these walls. Pilgrims have prayed here since the 4th century.
Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Armenian, Coptic, Ethiopian and Syriac Christians jointly steward the Church — one of the only sites in the world with such shared devotion.
For nearly two millennia Christians have travelled from every continent to pray at this spot. Your scroll joins that unbroken line.
A sacred, physical process
This is not a prayer typed into a form that disappears into a database. It is a physical journey, documented step by step.
You submit your prayer online with any dedication. Each Wednesday we print it on a physical scroll alongside the other prayers of that week.
On Sunday morning, our Jerusalem-based delivery team walks the scrolls through the Old City into the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Your scroll is placed inside the Church. We take a dated photograph showing the scroll and the Church — your proof the delivery was real.
By Monday evening, you receive an email with the dated photograph attached. You can save it, print it, or share it with the person the prayer was for.
